February 8, 2022

Meeting called to order by J. Krultz at 6:30 pm., who then led the Pledge of Allegiance. Board members in attendance were J. Krultz, M. Rezin, A. Werner, D. Oakes and T. Malinger. Staff in attendance- Clek, K. Oakes, Treasurer, N. Zellmer, PW Brian Knoepker Guest- Bill Forseth

Motion to approve agenda made by M. Rezin, A. Werner 2nd. CARRIED

New Business

  1. Bank First Well loan renewal- Motion made by T. Malinger to renew loan provided terms are the same (3 yr, 4.25% int) D. Oakes 2nd. CARRIED
  2. BCPL pay off (due in March, pay early?) Clerk will find out if we would save any interest and make sure that there is no penalty for paying off early, otherwise it will be paid on due date. Motion made by M. Rezin, A. Werner 2nd. CARRIED

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

  1. Warrens Monroe Commission – NO ACTION
  2. Department of Public Works – Bill Forseth from the Lion’s came and presented maintenance plan for the Log Bldg (see Project Plans) /Motion made to have Alliant replace tornado pole and hook up siren by D, Oakes, A. Werner 2nd. CARRIED Brian presented 2 quotes for pulling Well #1- Will find out timeline to see when it can be scheduled. Discussion on repainting the water tower. NO ACTION
  3. Planning/Zoning – NO ACTION
  4. Audit/Budget – Budget – Clerk will email CLA and confirm that 2019 draft is coming by 2/18. NO ACTION
  5. Office Administration- Upcoming training- Clerk & Treasurers Institute, July 11-15, 2022 Virtual. Scholarship applications due by March 15th (Treasurers) and April 15th (Clerks) // Voting machine is here. Company wants to set up training. Training plan is to train multiple municipalities at one location // Final Rules for COVID funds. Clerk will get all the paperwork and send to board so they can look at and discuss.
