Warrens Celebrates America’s 250th Birthday

A Night of Fun, Family, and Community Spirit!

The America 250 Committee hosted a special Community Movie Night in celebration of America’s 250th birthday, in partnership with the Warrens Area Fire District.

On July 17, 2026, families, friends, and neighbors gathered at the Warrens Area Fire District for an evening filled with entertainment, activities, and community connection.

The movie was displayed outdoors on the side of the Warrens Area Fire District building, creating a fun summer experience where residents could relax, enjoy time together, and celebrate this historic milestone as a community.

The summer of 2026 brought some challenging weather conditions, including extreme heat, high humidity, and air quality concerns related to wildfires to our north. Even with these challenges, many community members came out to enjoy the evening and celebrate together.

Their attendance was a wonderful reminder of what makes Warrens special — neighbors supporting neighbors, coming together in celebration, and creating memories that will last for years to come.

Guests enjoyed an outdoor showing of “GOAT” while spending time with family and friends.

Before the movie began, children and families enjoyed a variety of activities throughout the evening.

🖍️ Creating a Piece of Warrens History

As part of the America 250 celebration, attendees had the opportunity to help create a special keepsake for the future.

Community members of all ages were invited to color and sign a commemorative banner that will be placed in the Warrens America 250 Time Capsule to be opened in 50 years.

This special project gave residents the chance to leave their mark and share a piece of this celebration with future generations of Warrens.
