The Village of Warrens holds elections for various local offices, including the Village Board and other important positions. These elections are conducted according to Wisconsin state law and occur on a regular schedule. The Village of Warrens will hold a Spring Caucus on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 6:15 PM at the Village Hall, 301 Main Street, Warrens, WI 54666.

The purpose of the caucus is to nominate candidates for three (3) Village Trustee positions for the April 7, 2026 Spring Election. Only qualified electors of the Village of Warrens may participate. The caucus will be conducted in accordance with Wis. Stat. § 8.05.

The Village of Warrens will hold the following elections in 2026:

  • February 17, 2026 – Spring Primary Election (if needed)
  • April 7, 2026 – Spring Election
  • August 11, 2026 – Partisan Primary

Type A Notice

Election Date: April 7, 2026

This notice includes candidate listings, voting instructions, and a sample ballot for the upcoming election.

Type B Notice

No referenda or local questions are scheduled for 2026 in the Village of Warrens. No Type C notices are required for this election cycle.

The Municipal Board of Canvassers will meet on April 7, 2026, following the close of polls (or at a later time to be announced) to certify election results. This meeting is open to the public in accordance with Wis. Stat. §§ 7.51–7.53 and 19.81–19.89.

To vote in the Village of Warrens, follow these simple steps:

You must be a registered voter to participate in the election. You can register online at MyVote Wisconsin – Register to Vote.
Once registered, you can check your registration status, request an absentee ballot, or find more election information on the MyVote Wisconsin homepage.

  • Proof of residency with current address (e.g., utility bill, lease agreement), or
  • Valid photo ID with current address (e.g., current driver’s license, state ID)

If you are unable to vote in person, absentee voting allows you to vote by mail. To request an absentee ballot:

  • Visit the MyVote Wisconsin website to request a ballot online.
  • Or call the Village Clerk’s Office at 608-378-4177 or email tonnac@villageofwarrens.com.
  • Your written request must include: voting address, mailing address (if different), signature, and a copy of your photo ID.

In-person absentee voting begins 14 days before the election and ends the Friday before Election Day. In the Village of Warrens, early voting will be held at Village Hall.

Dates and Times for Early Voting February 17, 2026 – Spring Primary Election (if needed):
Early voting begins on February 3, 2026, and ends on February 13, 2026.
Early voting will be held at Village Hall, 301 Main Street, Warrens, WI, during Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Dates and Times for Early Voting April 7, 2026 – Spring Election:
Early voting begins on March 24, 2026, and ends April 3, 2026, at 11:30 AM.
The Village Hall will be open during regular business hours, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, and additionally on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM, for early voting.

Dates and Times for Early Voting August 11, 2026 – Partisan Primary:
Early voting begins on July 28, 2026, and ends on August 7, 2026, 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM.
The Village Hall will be open during regular business hours, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, and additionally on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM, for early voting.

Dates and Times for Early Voting November 3, 2026 – General Election:
Early voting begins on October 20, 2026, and ends on October 30, 2026, 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM.
The Village Hall will be open during regular business hours, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, and additionally on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM, for early voting.

How to Cast Your Early Vote:
Simply visit Village Hall during the available dates and times. No appointment is necessary, and you can cast your vote in person at the Clerk’s office.

On Election Day, vote in person at the Village Hall located at 301 Main Street, Warrens, WI 54666. Make sure to bring a valid photo ID.
