New Business

  1. Jellystone – Travis Walsh (manager) will be here to discuss alcohol license. Will the board consider amending the number of Class A licenses from 4 to 5? See Closed Session
  2. Board of Review dates – Open Book May 9th, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm; Board of Review May 16th, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

JK will contact the assessor and building inspector to discuss park models. If necessary, BOR will be moved to a later date.

MINUTES: March 14, 2023, Motion made to accept minutes by T. Malinger, A. Werner 2nd. CARRIED

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

  1. Warrens Monroe Commission – NO ACTION
  2. Department of Public Works – Pick up limbs/branches from storm (tentatively April 18th); Spring Clean-up week of May 1-5; Hydrant flushing week of May 8-12.
  3. Planning/Zoning – NO ACTION
  4. Audit/Budget- CLA is working on draft for 2020 Village Audit.
  5. Office Administration- Renewal letters for liquor licenses/operator’s licenses going out in next couple weeks. Do we allow food/beverage trucks within Village limits and if so, do they need a license from the Village? The clerk will look through ordinances. The clerk will look up transit merchants or large-scale events to find out about beverage/food truck license. Discussion about people living in camper (clerk will look up R1 Zoning Ord.)

Person asking for $160.00 credit off water bill. The treasurer will offer a payment plan.

Operator’s License -Brian Gillette, Josh Shisler Motion made to approve by T. Malinger, A. Werner 2nd. CARRIED

Transfer and Payment of Bills- Motion made by T. Malinger, D. Oakes 2nd, CARRIED.

Upon motion duly made and adopted, the Village Board may convene into closed session (i) pursuant to State Statute 19.85(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility to discuss personnel.
