📍 Collection Guidelines

  • All trash, recycling, and yard waste must be placed curbside by 7:00 A.M. on your designated collection day.
  • Please face container handles away from the road.
  • Collection does not occur on holidays when the Village is closed.

🗓️ Pickup Schedule

🗑️ Garbage Pickup (Black Can): Every Monday
♻️ Recycling Pickup (Blue Can): Every other Tuesday
🎄 Live Christmas Tree Pickup: TBD

  • Trees must be free of bags, decorations, stands, and lights.

🌿 Spring Clean-Up Week

🧹 April 29 – May 6, 2025

Residents may place large or special items curbside during this week. See electronics and mattress guidelines below.

♻️ What You Can Recycle

✅ Accepted Items
  • Paper (envelopes, newspapers, magazines, books, loose paper)
  • Tin cans (rinsed)
  • Glass bottles (empty)
  • Plastic bottles (clean and empty)
  • Aerosol cans (empty)
  • Clean plastic containers
  • Aluminum cans (empty)
🚫 Not Accepted
  • Tissues, napkins, paper plates
  • Meat wrappers
  • Styrofoam
  • Used pizza boxes
  • Tobacco products
  • Furnace filters
  • All fiberglass products
  • Vinyl siding
  • Paint cans with wet paint
  • Burnt or partially burned items (e.g. wet or charred paper or cans)

Tip: When in doubt, throw it out. Contaminated recyclables can spoil a whole batch.

💻 Electronics Disposal

Electronics are only collected during Spring Clean-Up Week.

Eligible items include:

Televisions*

Computers*

Monitors*

Refrigerators

Freezers

Dehumidifiers

Air conditioners

⚠️ Items marked with an asterisk (*) require a $15 fee.
Payment must be made to the Village prior to pickup.

🛏️ Mattress Disposal Fee

Due to Monroe County regulations, there is a $50 fee for mattress pickup.
